Telluride Colorado Ski Holidays: Telluride is a ski resort like no other in the USA. Located in the South Western corner of the State in the dramatic San Juan Mountains, its setting is truly spectacular. Set at the end of a "Box" Canyon and surrounded on all sides by seemingly impossibly steep slopes (there are some gentle runs in there though!), it is a beautiful place for a ski vacation. The terrain is very much more "alpine" in style than most of the Reorts in the nearby Rocky Mountains. Skiing inTelluride is an unforgettable experience.

Telluride and its surrounds have in the last few years been "discovered" by many of the Hollywood glitterati, and many stars now have homes in and around the area (its that stunning). This has unfortunately driven prices up in this hitherto fairly sleepy ski town, The town itself has all of the charm and history of a true western mining town, and the mountain village has all the ski in ski out convenience of the high alpine resorts of the Alps - with better architecture! Whichever location you choose, Telluride will not let you down.
